When Clover members first receive chat requests from users they have not chatted with before. only text messages will be allowed.  You need to accept the chat to allow further chat functions. Clover members are able to decline chat requests or not respond to them at all. You can also leave a conversation after it has begun.

Furthermore, Clover members can easily block or report users and messages within a chat conversation.

Blocked users will be blocked from you across Clover, which means they will no longer be able to send you chat messages, and their posts will be hidden from you.
